An ailing Suffolk amateur theatre company need a ‘star’ for their next production, King Lear, to help save their village theatre.  A fading American actor takes on the role thinking he is about to appear in Stratford upon Avon; however he finds himself in Stratford St John instead. Will he find his inner Lear?  A gentle and funny play containing the twin pleasures of light comedy and Shakespeare.
