We may have recently cast the 2026 pantomime, but we're already looking ahead to the panto for Christmas 2027.

We need a director! If you might be interested in directing our fun and popular panto we'd be delighted to hear from you - so please get in touch.

You don't necessarily have to have a script in mind or even a particular panto - we can help find something suitable, and rest assured help and support from the committee and SDS members in general is all part of the package to help you create a panto production in the best traditions of SDS.

The SDS pantomime is hugely popular with our audiences - we usually sell well over 90% of the tickets available - and is an important part of our annual output so it's a production that always has the full weight of SDS support behind it.

Our panto usually runs from around the ened of the second week in December to Christmas Eve and starts rehearsing around mid October with auditions held in July.
