When a country house weekend takes a turn for the worse, Bertie Wooster is unexpectedly called on to play matchmaker in reconciling the affections of his host's drippy daughter Madeline Bassett with his newt-fancying acquaintance Gussie Fink-Nottle.

Assisted by the ever-faithful Jeeves, Bertie had better succeed in pulling off the wedding of the season or he may end up having to marry the ghastly girl himself!

If you saw 'The 39 Steps' - also directed and produced by Malcolm and Lorna - with just four actors taking multiple and varied roles, then 'Perfect Nonsense' is in similar territory and promises to be a spiffingly side splitting sojourn to the jolly old theatre!

Based on the 'delightfully bonkers' stories of P.G. Wodehouse, Perfect Nonsense is - in the words of one critic - a 'theatrical delight' and is set to present a demanding yet fun challenge for the cast and production team.
